It’s been a long process but our sun room and updated lobby are finally complete. It took nearly a year to secure the building permits and close to another year to wrap up the construction both inside and out.
Cherry woodwork and granite counter tops have added to our corporate image as we expand our jet market and visibility. The sun room has added over 400 square feet to our lobby space which will soon also include a gas fireplace to keep out the winter chills!
The exterior of our facility has received a major facelift with stucco and stone covered walls. Paving stones now line the entrance and surround the six foot diameter granite slab engraved with the New York Jet Logo providing a welcoming “home away from home” feeling to our corporate guests.
(After 9/11, we were asked if we were going to change our logo – as far as we are concerned, in our hearts the twin towers will always be a part of the NY skyline, therefore, our New York Jet logo will remain the same).
This has been a huge undertaking and we thank our customers for putting up with the inconveniences during the past months while we were under construction!
Kudos to Eddie Sheffield, our Line Operations Manager, for his hard work and patience in coordinating between thirteen vendors to pull this project together! Now that this has been completed, come on in for a visit and enjoy our new look!
